About the founder
Mahée Leclerc is a seasoned professional with over 7 years of dedicated experience in tackling Migration and Forced Labour challenges across Asia and the Middle East.
She formerly served as the CEO of HelperChoice, an ethical recruitment agency for migrant workers in Asia and the Middle-East.
Based in Hong Kong, the tech-enabled agency served as a fairer alternative to traditional recruitment agencies, which often charge workers high placement fees leaving them in debt and unable to leave bad working conditions.
Under her leadership the agency saved an more than US$500,000 in illegal placement fees and has pioneered programs that actively engage with local NGOs and UN entities to promote education and raise awareness.
Her achievements have been awarded the DBS Foundation Social Enterprise Grant in 2020 and being featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Social Impact in Asia in 2023.
These acknowledgments underscore her commitment in driving positive change.
